Welcome! My name is Shanita. I spent over a decade of my life working as a realtor specializing in property management. Although I loved helping people and it helped shape a part of who I am today, I never felt like property management was what I was meant to do. And not to mention how stressful of a job it was! One day, I went to get waxed, and the esthetician made it so enjoyable that it stoked my curiosity about her profession. Before I knew it, I was enrolled in wax tech school, then permanent makeup school, on my way to becoming a licensed esthetician myself. Now, I’m helping others in a whole new way, and I feel so strongly that I’m serving my true purpose. By doing this I launched Outer Beauty Waxtique.
Portsmouth has been my home for most of my life. I am a proud wife and a dedicated mother of one beautiful human and one adorable furbaby. My family is everything to me!
The power of positive thinking plays a big role in my life, and I credit most of my accomplishments and blessings to the Law of Attraction. I’m a firm believer in the old saying, “Laughter is the best medicine.” I love to laugh. And making people feel good about themselves is my superpower! Some think this means that I’m a “people-person”, but the truth is that I, like so many others, struggle with social anxiety. And I do best in one-on-one scenarios, as opposed to crowds. So, my treatment room is where you’ll truly get to know the real me.
